When you sing karaoke there is usually music but without the original singer in the background. Karaoke is just amateur singing, usually with the lyrics on a screen so they know what to say.

A capella doesn’t have any background music, it’s just your voice. If you sing with NO accompaniment, no music, that is a cappella.

At Itunes , a single song costs $1.29, so if you wish to buy all the songs in an album with 13 tracks, it works out much more cheaper to buy a CD, rather than purchase each song individually.
Cds are often available at a discount.
Cd songs can be copied.

The pricing of downloaded songs is less 99 cents – $1.29 and is a better option if you just wish to listen to a single track. However if your hard disk crashes and your computer damaged, you will lose the song forever.
If you want to copy the song on to a CD or DVD, you will have to purchase a blank CD / DVD which adds to the costs.
iPod music is DRM-protected so it is difficult to get the songs onto other media.
